Not sure how recent this release is or if it's already old news, but:

At my local GW yesterday they had a display box of the new Empire Reinforcements box, going for 90 bux, and looks pretty sweet.

As I remember it, it contains the parts to assemble a hefty block of Flagellents, a medium block of Great Swords, that artillery gun with the dozens of thin barrels in a giant cylinder, and the new kickass Empire wizards (showed 2 on the cover, but I think it might have the parts to make all 4).

Not sure if this is a good deal, but it's one of the few box bundle releases I've seen in a while packed full of very well sculpted models IMO.  The new wizards are so sexy...

*edit* State troops not great swords, my bad!  Can you tell I'm not an Empire player? ;-)

Everything plastic except the great swords, right? I'd be all over plastic GS ...

You don't get greatswords.  The box comes with 20 Flagellents, 20 State Troops (regular melee), a Hellblaster/Rocket Battery (can go either way, like the Cannon/Mortar), and 2 Wizards.  There are tons of customization options with the Wizard kit, but you only have two bodies, so only two Wizards.

It retails for $90, just like the regular battallion.

It's a nice value, my Empire army is almost finished though, so I'll wait a month to get the Wizards.

I find the 'Empire Army 2007' interesting as well. They have made a few changes from the Empire army released at the start of the year. It still has the general/BSB, 8 knights, 10 pistoliers/outriders, 20 State infantry and 20 State missle troops. The cannon/mortar has been replaced by the Helblaster/Helstorm, and the goofy metal wizard has been replaced by 20 plastic flagellants.

It has been a while since I saw pictures of the wizard sprue, but if I remember correctly, there are plenty of bits, but only 2 bodies.  So you can only build two wizards, but they can be from any two of the eight colleges.
