There's a small RTT in cleveland tomorrow (at noon at Warzone, if anybody is interested), and since I won the last one with my pods, I'm looking to take something... softer.  I'm not saying I don't want to win my games, but I figure this is a good time to try something new and fun.  I basically have two options: Space Marines and IG.  Here are some possible builds, any thoughts on what would be fun to play against:

Drop pods: (this is basically my 1850 list, with some extra men, less plasma, and TYBB)
Libby w/ terminators
terminators
3x 10 tacs with plasma/flamer, fists, Trust yer battle brother
3x5 tac with double melta
Dread

Mech: (for that, "hey, it's 1999" flavor)
3x Tac in Rhino, flamers, fists, etc.
razorback, las/plas
predators, tornados, chaplain, dreadnought

"Codex" Imperial guard: (basically take a little of everything, I'll probobly run Iron D, Close Order, Sharpshooters, Rough riders, and conscripts)
Beefy command squad, but not OTT, a couple of heavy weapon squads
two infantry platoons, two armored fists
hellhound, sentinels, LRBT, Demolisher, basi
Rough Riders, conscripts.

The IG list has a certain "hey, it's not MEQ" thing going for it, but I'm going to be tempted to throw 11 lascannons and 13 plasma guns in it.  I have plenty of IG models, so any suggestions as to what would be fun to face?
