Actually, I find these entries to be most impressive. This Slayer Sword winner definitely makes the cut, as far as I am concerned.

Haven't we seen Mark Raley's Autarch somewhere before?

I have always like the Scythes of the Emperor, and I really like Dave Taylor's conversions.

Now, I think Yurii went way over the top with that Wave Serpent, but the blending is beautiful, and the details are crisp. More power to him.

He's got a mind like a steel trap. By which I mean it can only hold one idea at a time;
it latches on to the first idea to come along, good or bad; and it takes strenuous effort with a crowbar to make it let go.

It's too bad that Dave Taylor has no idea what a scythe is. But that goes for all of GW. Other than that his models are really nice.

I dunno, those scythes look like they have a lot of power behind that point.  Reminds me of the rocket hammer in Battle Angel Alita.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

But those are Space Scythes From The Future. They're different than what we're used to.

I'm enjoying the fact that the 40K Single Miniature Bronze went to an Eldar miniature painted by a fellow with the last name "Swisher".
