Subject: Skorne Agonizer - solo
|
|
Lieutenant General
|
Each agonizer embodies pain and manifests its misery as an aura afflicting those around it. This horribly abused infant titan radiates its suffering with such force that it can suck the vitality and strength from attacking warbeasts and cripple an enemy's assault before any blows are struck. Death comes as sweet relief after the continual torment these creatures endure. Agonizers come one in a blister (PIP 74029). A player may have up to one Agonizer for every warlock in his Skorne horde. The Skorne Agonizer solo (PIP 74029) joins Skorne hordes this October and is detailed in the pages of HORDES: Evolution, releasing in August. Ugly in the extreme. I guess you could use it as some sort of Nurglish spawn if you really wanted to.

Actually, it's a tortured abused baby titan, and it looks like one I guess.
What's really disturbing is the mindset of the skorne to create and use such a beast. It makes skorne alot...creepier if you ask me.
Definetely a nice twist.

Yeah, too many bad feelings about that in look and concept. Too damn creepy, and I like some good creepy now and again.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die. |

Does anyone else find the reactions on the PP website funny? I am waiting for someone to complain to PETA that they are teaching people to be cruel to baby elphants.

I really wish that one of the miniature companies would at least try not to include a force of comic book villians in their force lineup. They're great when you're marketing to ten-year olds and autistic cretins who can't can't get any farther than GOOD YAY BAD BOO, but it's goddamn embarrassing for some of us non-retards.
Everything written about The Legion or Scorne* pretty much reduces to "THE BAD ELVES LIKE TO HURT PEOPLE. THEY ARE BAD ELVES."
*Also works for Dark Eldar and Dark Elves, and can work in a pinch for Cryx if you change "Elves" to "Corpses."

Here, I've rewritten the press release to be more sussinct. As a technical writer I'd normally be charging for this, but I like your face, Privateer Press. The bad elves hurted this baby frogaphant. They are bad, bad elves. Baby Frogaphants come one in a blister (PIP 74029). A player may have up to one Baby Frogaphant for every Bad Elf Wizard in his laughablely, cartoonishly evil Skorne horde .

Yea, not my cup of tea. Was never a fan of nurglish looking models and could never see their appeal. Looks like a rotting zombie frog man...or an evil Taod from the Frog and Toad series of children's books. Ick.
Story concept is kinda gross too.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money. |

Those are the chaos evil elves who hang out with those guys who used to give the Maxx a hard time until he became a farmer. These are the nosferatu creepy evil elves who have pointed hats and ride battle-cat. Gawd. You'd think you'd know the difference. I mean, come on.

That's heinously ugly sculpt. Essentially a grey blob with some lesions and sores on it. I'd be embarrassed putting that in a display cabinet next to the other Titans.
