Hey,

I really want wild riders in my wood elf army but I think the current GW models are just awful, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how i could convert my own, or if anyone did theres, how they did it ????

Thanks,

My advice is to get plastic glade riders and dryads an kitbash until the cows come home. There is a hollowed out chunk in the back of the GR torsos that holds the dryad back branch thing nicely, many of the dryad arms fit onto the GR torsos and you can use dryad heads on GR bodies by getting a small bead to use as the neck. Long story short, build regular GRs but add dryad heads and arms to taste. It works best when you use non-bow armed torsos, so then you can use either GR spears/banners/horns etc. as well as dryad arms. You'll probably want to do a dry run with blue-tac just to make sure that it all works out and you like how your version of the model turns out.

cheers!
