Shipping:

3 months ago we have set up a "saving" account to secure cash for shipping 2nd and 3rd wave of AvP. We have some really exciting news. Our sales team has really done an extremely good on sales of Prodos games products and casting services in the past 3 months and we have secured 42K+ GBP for Wave shipping (see attached picture http://imgur.com/l6P2PyZ ). This only means that we have in plans to ship out ALL KS items by end of January. We will also set up an email account for queries regarding only the KS - KS@prodosgames.com, this email will be active from mid February. IF you have not received your rewards by END February please contact us immediately on the email above.

A small BUG.

We have found a small issue with pledge manager.. The pledge manager was linked to our online shop and run on the same platform, if a KS backer have made any purchase in our shop (Warzone for instance) the PM in some cases marked off KS pledge as shipped and shop purchase tracking number was recorded in KS box as well. This have been now resolved. However if you plan to make any purchases in our shop or you have done it in last week or so please emial us on service@prodos.co.uk, we will check every individual case. I hope my words wont get twisted around, but so security (to make sure that we can actually provide you with KS tracking number) if you made any purchase in our shop and if you have not shipped your KS rewards, we will have to do it in one parcel with one tracking number (shop order + KS rewards). At this stage this is the only solution without interfering into source code of PM... the last thing we need at this stage is total fallout with PM.

Prodos Games LTD

Last year for Prodos was like a ride on roller coaster. Although, we are ashamed of decisions we have made, like getting retail out and so on (to some degree we had no option anyway) in a long run our it shows that the decisions we have made secured KS and Prodos Games future.

Prodos Games in now 30 employees we are providing services for many companies, some of you may even have models made by us not even knowing that Prodos was the manufacturer, 12 KS run by other companies went through our hands, either in the form of 3D sculpting, 3d Printing or casting. In last 6 months (we track numbers for last 6 months only) we have made 109237 sprues of miniatures for external customers! That's 100k sprues!

We totally understand that for many of you Prodos is the worse company that you could have a pleasure to deal with, frankly, a lot, and I mean a lot of delays where due to lack of our experience with the big boys and 3rd party delays that affect us personally and Prodos.

What we can assure that the product you will receive is the top quality in terms of casting as well as design- we are a bunch of engineers and the quality for us is the top goal.

I said many times that for us AvP KS was like an open wound, that was bleeding out us slowly, and only what we could do last year was to put some plasters to reduce the bleeding... now, we are in the stage of stitches that stop the bleeding however we are aware that AVP KS scar will stay for ever on Prodos Games face.
The root cause of all issues was the decision to go KS with this project. Looking back we should get it out slowly, starting with a board game and then add more.. but, we have a new future, a KS free future, this decision for us, in a long term, I believe is the best decision we could make. We know, for fact, how difficult is to run a KS, we know how many companies must go from KS to KS to fulfil previous commitments and we know how many companies are struggling because we have been helping them out.
So no-KS projects are the future for us.

New NO-KS Projects.

We are happy to announced that in February we are releasing a new line of miniatures called Space Crusaders. We have already 60 models designed, cast and all going through painting at this stage, this will follow with Space Crusade Board Game mid year... and the range of the models will be increased to 120 by the end of 2016. In May+, Prodos is releasing Warzone 2.0 and new faction Illian. Some really new innovative Wargaming solutions will be put in place.

June/July is a new add to AvP Board Game (stand alone game + expansion to the current game, with additional rules) and focus will be put on war-gaming side of the AvP (more models)

AvP range also will expand. We have in plans to get out another 15 types of models, 5 for each faction! (collecting references). And if plastic work out for us we will have as well Dropship as well.

Hope that one day we can forget the issues we have been going through with AvP KS and Prodos will become your favourite company. We will work very very hard to regain your trust and KS backers will always have a spot in our hart regardless of personal attack or other issues.

Hi there. This is just a short update to let you know that we are still on course to finish wave 2 by the end of February. What is left to ship is shown in the attached pictures from board game manufacturer. The stack on left are the remaining AvP KS version board games that are getting assembled and shipped to us within next few weeks.

We are excited and happy to announce that all 2nd Wave parcels, shipped after the 8th Feb will include following items (pictures to shown prior to shipping):
- Facehuggers
- Young Bloods
- Female Predator
- Sentry Guns
- Marines and Predator objective markers.

Outstanding items: An Additional Rules set, clear predator faction models and resin terrain, will be included in the final wave 3 shipping, which we hope to commence in late March (date to be confirmed).

Australian Backers: Small parcels are being shipped directly from Poland, larger orders are being prepared and shipped to our Australian partner, and this has resulted in significant postage savings such that I no longer need to sell my kidneys to ensure that everyone gets the products we have committed to sending you.

Again, I want to thank you for your patience but can I ask people again to please check your name and surname and your address in the pledge manager. We still have 278 backers where the data is not complete and this is delaying shipping for these backers as we will only be contacting them once all other shipments have been sent.

And I’ve kept the best piece of news until last. You asked for it and we are now working on 2 resin models, that will be available via our webstore or at various shows we plan to attend in 2016.

I can’t tell you what they are yet but I hope to be able to update you next week. Our design team is hard working on this exciting project at the moment and I hope to be able to bring you sneak peaks of the production and design of these once all the kickstarter products have been issued.

These sneak peaks will be on our webpage once we have approval.

you say there are 278 pledges that are problematic due to names and addresses. On mine I have a different delivery address than the billing address. Is that going to be a problem?

No , we have several peoples with just their 1st names only or nicknames in the pledge manager or missing postcodes etc.

I see that for those in the US that haven't received Wave 1 shipments, they will get them when their Wave 2 shipments go out. But what about Pre-Orders? I missed the Kickstarter but did the post-Kickstarter Pre-Order. Are those included in the Wave 1/Wave 2 combined shipments?

it was 4 weeks for tooling and so on, however we have still 137 board games in stock that being sent out this/next week, restock is coming in 3 max weeks (as soon as we get stands or find temporary replacement for them (not really an option as it will need an approval))

Good morning all,
First off all, we, at Prodos, would like to say thank you for support over the last week. We have been working around the clock and have pulled family members and friends in to meet the deadline i set last week as part of the expedited shipping offer.
We are delighted to say that over the course of the week(between 9th and 13th of May)., a total of 215 backers participated in the offer. From that we have shipped 155 parcels out. Orders placed on Thursday and Friday are currently sitting in our warehouse floor to be shipped out Mondy and Tuesday morning so we are still on schedule to get these shipped out within the 5 day timeframe we set ourselves.
Additionally 41 parcels where sent out to backers that have not taken the part in the deal. This means that we had a total of 196 parcels leave our offices over the last week with another 60 being shipped out between Monday and Tuesday.
Each of you should receive a tracking number, one from us, followed by another one from the courier company in your country. USA/Canadian and Australian parcels are shipped by Poczta Polska and then transferred to your local courier company as per the previous update.
Shipping cost explained.
Based on feedback received ,we would like to explain the issue with the shipping costs a bit. AvP kickstarter ran in 2013 and at that time KS had no means to update shipping costs therefore we had to put in a flat rate. Basedon our calculations, at the time, for we estimated that the game would weigh in at a not inconsiderable, 2.3 kg in weight. The 10GBP we estimated wasn’t enough to cover that on it’s own but at the time we accepted that the cost of shipping would need to be subsidised from profits to a small degree. However as you know, the game ended up weighting in at a monstrous 4kg in weight (you who have carried these boxes any distance can attest to the weight) due to quality concerns in relation to the thinner box and components that time.
As you can see on attached screenshot, to ship a parcel to USA for example, using the cheapest track solution, costs 280 PLN which equates to roughly 71 USD, and this doubles for Australia.I know some of you won’t care in relation to this but we’re being as transparent as possible and taking on board your criticism and feedback.
With this in mind, we’re aware that some people have expressed annoyance at the THB page and we’re now looking to sort this out. We have decided to close down the current THB facebook page as of on the 29th May, and create 2 others. One for Kickstarter backers only,which will be used for KS updates and to give us feedback, and a second page for the community as a whole to discuss the game, rules, scenarios etc.

Later this month, in Excel, London, is Salute 2017 tradeshow. http://www.salute.co.uk Prodos Games is attending it and we are located at booth TD30. If you are visiting the show, you can collect your AvP Pledge there! All you have to to is send us an e-mail with your order and bring some form of ID with you with your ks pledge detail. And that's it. You will be able to pick up part of your pledge there! To collect your pledge please send us an e-mail: salute2017@prodosgames.com so we know what stock to bring with us.

Cloaked Predators are coming!
These are now in production and on their way to us from China. By the end of the May we are expecting them to arrive and right after that we will be shipping them to our backers. You can see picture of actual components below:

Ok, so I finally picked up the rest of my pledge from Salute. From what I could see there were quite a few guys who didn't get replies and we're disappointed their stuff wasn't there, my mate included.
To be fair to the chap who was running the collections he was having a miserable time but handled it well the best he could. I didn't envy him one bit.
There's lessons to be learned here for everybody including myself and how I see KS as a whole. It's a shame the situation turned sour which forced me to sell this and the rest of my stuff on ebay.
Good luck to everyone who are still out of pocket I hope you get sorted soon. But I'm happy my journey has come to an end.
Oh and ps the rule book is a lot smaller than expected. Kind of graphic novel thickness but smaller in size.

To be honest....the stall was busy selling. One guy running the collections, while one Prodos was next door buying spectre and one sat down on the floor chilling. That was an hour of the place opening.
