As requested, copies of my recent newsletters for the campaign I'm running.

ISSUE 14:

Strays Light up Smokers

A bitter personal dispute has erupted between established Terminus residents the Holy Smokes, and newcomer Delaque gang the Straylight Runners.

In a move that demonstrated all the hallmarks of the traditional Delaque mindset, the Runners attempted to ambush the Van Saars before they even realised the newcomers existed.

Unfortunately for them, the Runners failed to achieve the success they hoped for - in fact, their scouts managed to miss seeing one of the Smokes? heavies and his bodyguards, as they were concentrating too much on the gangers they could see!

Quickly realising what was going on, the three took up firing positions on the Delaques, then quickly raised the alarm.

The ensuing firefight was predictably brief, and ended with the Straylight Runners fleeing the site in panic - leaving one of their heavies in the hands of the Smokes!

Although the heavy was ransomed rather than sold into slavery (or becoming lunch), nothing could diminish the Runners anger, and they made a second attempt to take on the Smokes a day later, in Bigpant Pass.

Once again, the Delaques decided to adopt a sneaky, backstabbing approach, this time with somewhat more success.

The Holy Smokes were apparently caught by surprise, not expecting a second attack from the Delaques after their previous defeat. The Runners, meanwhile, had decided to take out a water still the Van Saar gang were emptying at the time.

After a brief firefight they achieved this aim, but unfortunately their run of bad luck was not over yet. Apparently, it was not until the gang met up at their hideout that they realised one person was missing - their leader!

The Holy Smokes have since confirmed that they hold the Straylight Runner?s leader captive, but no word as to his fate has yet been received.

Whatever the outcome of the hostage negotiations, The Holy Smokes have once again proved themselves to be one of the most highly capable gangs in the Terminus area.

However, the Straylight Runners, have yet to prove themselves up to the tough challenge of surviving in Terminus - and they need to start by either getting their leader back, or (prefably) finding a new one!

This Week?s Special Event - Enforcers Clean Up!

After a robbery at the Guilder bank in Ptang City last week, the Hive Primus enforcers have been very busy rounding up the usual suspects.

As a result, a lot of the underhive scum, ratskins and other undesirables have either been taken in for questioning, or else are lying low. In addition, a number of bounty hunters have taken up Guilder contracts.

As a result, there is currently a shortage of hired guns in the Terminus area - the services of any hired guns must be retained by paying them 50% more (rounding up) for each game they take part in this week.

In addition, roll a D6 for every hired gun on each gang?s roster, whether they play this week or not. On a roll of a 1, the gun has been taken in for questioning, and is never seen again...

Cawdor Preachers Arrive in Terminus Area

A Cawdor gang known as Act of God has recently arrived in Terminus, apparently determined to ?spread the holy word of the Emperor to the heathens?.

After opening a church on Side Street in Terminus itself, the group has began travelling

OPEN WARFARE!

Terminus in the centre of conflict between DTF and Van Saar Alliance - Lecter dead!

Capone Swears vengeance on Van Saar killers - Ed?s Eds unrepentant

Growing tensions between the two most numerous houses in Terminus - Dealques and Van Saars - have erupted into violence and open warfare.

The DTF - long worried that it?s stranglehold on trade and organised crime in Terminus was being eroded by the increasing Van Saar presence - finally declared all out war on the Alliance.

The spark in the powder keg was provided during a clash between top Van Saar gang Ed?s Eds and founding DFT gang The Trenchcoat Mafia. Although reports are still far from clear, it is known that Hannibal Lecter, the Mafia?s feared psychopathic killer, was mercilessly gunned down by several Eds during a clash between the two gangs last week.

Despite being attended to by an experienced Delaque medic, the feared killer died from his injuries, causing the Mafia?s leader Capone to declare a vendetta against all Van Saars.

?This is my town, and I ain?t havin? any cowardly techno-freaks musclin? in on my operations!? was Capone?s justification.

Ed, leader of Ed?s Eds, appeared undaunted by the threat, telling our reporter ?Mr Capone can talk all he wants. I?ve got a heavy stubber belt just for him...?

Most gangs from each house have been quick to align themselves with their respective associations, and a number of clashes have already taken place - at least one newcomer Van Saar gang to the area have already been driven off after the death of their leader, and another suffered serious casualties when fighting against the DTF.

Other loyal Van Saar Alliance gangs have already done their bit - in particular the Holy Smokes have already proven themselves loyal supporters of the Alliance, frequently taking on DTF gangs.

THIS WEEK?S SPECIAL EVENT: SUPPLY SHORTAGE

Because of the DTF - VSA conflict, many gangs and citizens are stocking up on essential supplies. This has resulted in shortages of a number of items, including heavy-calibre ammunition.

For this week only, any sustained-fire weapons suffer a penalty to all ammo rolls equal to the number of sustained fire dice used!

In addition, for the duration of the Van Saar Alliance - Delaque Trade Federation conflict, after any fights involving both houses each gang MUST report the other to the authorities... including an additional -1 penalty for both sides!

Despite (or perhaps because of) the recent outbreak of hostilities, Terminus continues to be popular with underhivers striking out on their own.

Local Orlock residents have quickly made The Untimate Baadasses welcome, despite the outbreak of bleating that follows them from other house members wherever they go.

Perhaps somewhat more worryingly, a Cawdor gang known as the Holy Heralds of the Sacred Truth have made their appearance in the area, hoping the growing population of Terminus will provide them with new converts to the cause.

Obituaries

The DTF mourns the loss of one of it?s own - Hannibal Lecter, gunned down in his prime during an un-proveked attack by Ed?s Eds

Vladimir and Mikhail, members of the Gold Diggers, will be mourned by their comrades.

An open service will be held for an unknown Van Saar leader, killed while fighting the DTF
