Okay, so I'm converting my miniature storage to magnetic.  I already have my minis based and mostly painted so I don't want to risk rebasing them (unless someone has a really safe way to remove them from the old bases).  I was going to glue a simple washer to the bottom of the base and set them on a piece of magnetic stripping.

Now for the question:

Has anyone done this successfully?  If so, what size washer should I use for infantry, light jacks and heavy jacks?

I think I have heavies already, but infantry and lights would be awesome.  And if someone knows where you can find even BIGGER washers, please let me know for some other projects.

Just use thin circular neodymium disc magnets on the bottom of the bases. Four or five should work great for a heavy.
