Ok so recently in a game this issue cam up.

I popped sorschas feat, and moved all my warriors into positions ware they could charge next turn.

But dose her feat ware off before I can get the charge and auto hit with my melee attacks??

The way I read the feat is. I use it on my turn.  Starting their turn they become stationary.  It comes back to me, I charge shoot ECT ECT, and do nasty things to the stationary targets.  Then it goes back to my opponent and his models thaw and act normal.

if i cant move into position then charge with auto hitting melee attacks, this feat just had the balls choped off of it, and becomes next to useless IMO.  yes they are standing still, but now in order to use it effictvly, i must move into charge and shooting range of allmost everything they got.

You have to set up to make the most of it on your turn.

It lasts for one round so that means it's there on the turn that Sorscha uses it, then they're
stationary during the opponent's turn. At the start of your next turn they are no longer
stationary.

For example:

1. Sorscha uses her feat and makes models stationary.
2. In order to benefit from attacking a stationary model, the Khador army has to charge
or shoot whatever they want to charge or shoot this turn.
3. When the Khador player is done, the opponent gets his turn.
4. The opponent has nothing to do, so turn goes back to Sorscha.
5. Before anyone does anything, stationary effect goes away. The models that were
previously affected are no longer stationary.

What it means strategically is you want to have Sorscha a little bit behind, but not too
close to the front. She will activate before any key attackers on your feat turn so that
she can make models stationary. So the turn before you use the feat you have to
think about positioning for a charge.

The balls are not cut off (well, other than the Line of Sight balls). Many feats occur on
the turn they are used. It has always been this way.

You can also use it offensively to get at a hiding caster. Models caught in the Icy Gaze
cannot freestrike you, so suddenly your models can run to engage an important enemy
model or caster.

So order of activation matters for Sorscha's feat turn.

You can also use it after you have knocked down the majority of your opponents army!

Be careful using it when you get stuck in, as you'll have LOS issues with lots of enemy models around.
