I love the Killa Kans and the Ork Dreadnaughts so I was thinking of doing a (non WAAC) army something like this:

2x big meks with KFF, Burna and Grot Oilerx3

10 burna boys w/ 3 meks upgrade and Grot Oilers for each

3x3 killer kans with various weapons, and armor plates

2 deff dreds w/ close combat arms and armor plates taken as troop choice

It comes out to about 1250 depending on weapons given to the Kans.

I already have 3 kans so I was thinking I would buy the apocalypse dred mob off of the online store to fill up the list.

The Kans will have the benefit of the KFF and the repairs of all 5 meks (with re-rolls).  They will not win any durability awards but it should be fun.

If I was going to expand higher than this I guess I would put a bunch of slugga boys behind the kans and dreads, providing mobile cover till the time for the charge arrives.   Also maybe some schorchas to act as mobile cover.

What does everyone think.  I know it wont win a tournament against a Godzilla army, but it could be fun (and fluffy)

That's cute, I didn't realize taking two Big Meks would allow both compulsory troops choices to be dreads.  It's the Ork 'Zilla list- great idea for a themed army.

I already want to build up an army based around two brother geniuses and their 'inventions' (2 dreads, 9 kans, 9 koptas) cobbled together from any and every vehicle sprue in the game.

oooh the kopta's would be a good addition, but relatively expensive (in dollars/pounds/whatever) compared to the dreds.

I was also thinking of doing a nob mob with a painboy, 'cause he's the guy who puts da orks in the dreds

Cool idea.  You need at least a couple trukks/battlewagons in there.
