So there is a 3k tournament with 2 force org charts possible and was making a list to play FOR FUN. Below is a list with what I have and generally enjoy playing with, what do you guys think?

I plan on just having a nice fire base with the vibro cannons/warwalkers and a 10 man wraithgaurd squad while marching everything else up to take objectives. Yriel will be with the mounted wraithgaurd squad to take out some tanks/dev squads or whatever is the biggest threat to army.

40k is balanced at the 1500 - 2000 pt levels.
Your army is a bit too static, if you need to take objects.
I'd take 3 Falcons, they could give the Harlies a ride.
Does Eldrad join the large WraithGuard squad?

Eldrad joins one of the large wraithgaurd squads and casts the re-roll saves on both of them then re-roll shooting on either the war walkers or something else.

Basically, I'd just walk the wraithgaurd up to take objectives and sit there, recon might be the only heacache depending on opponent. It's basically a foot slogging army with some mobile parts, what do you expect as far as mobility goes =). Also, everything in the army can move and shoot but the vibrocannons so it is actually not that static as I can always be moving towards objectives each turn and not sacrifice firepower.

Is this for the LA Battle bunker event? I am thinking of showing up for that one.

I am planning on bringing my Eldar too. Mine is fully mechanized and at 3000 points has alot of Harlies in the falcons.

Honestly, if I win any games with this list I'd be thrilled. I'm going to laugh if my wraithguard beat down your harlequins =).

Good luck with the list Mortetvie. It turns out, I will be at an RTT at Adventurers Guild Riverside today instead of the Bunker. Let us know how the "fun list" works out. I will be playing Grey Knights as my "fun list" today, so wish me luck.

I got a massacre all three games today (one of them was agasint gray knights =)), my list did a lot better than I thought it would. I guess there are just so many hard to kill things in the list (except the warwalkers). I think 2 squads of 10 wraithguard are a bit much. I'll have to bring an Iyanden flavored list to the next tournament you play in and see how it does.

Congrats Mortetvie. 3 massacres, nicely played. Is your Iyanden army painted, I love that color scheme.

I don't think I will be bringing my Grey Knights to another RTT any time soon. I got lucky at the Adventurers Guild RTT yesterday and won "Best General." One RTT a year with Grey Knights is enough for me.

It is getting there, I just replaced all the old Eldar models with the new, when time permits you'll probably see me in Pasadena with some wraithguard =).

Wraithguard = good times!

I ran into a 10 man unit of wraithguard with my Tyranids recently. Those damn wraithguard can really chew up carnifexes. Word to the wise, do not get within 12 of those guys with carnies.

I'm not surprised that you did very well with iyanden. 10 man wraithguard units look so terrible on paper, but I have had my head handed to me by them on more than one occasion.

I played a 2k game against them with the deceiver 2 liths 2 warrior units 2 immortal units and 2 destroyer units. Wraithlord stayed at max range and wraithguard just walked up to my first lith, ripped it apart and then walked over to my second one. I was just screaming "Not in the face!" by the end of the game. I think i killed 1 or 2? Lost 6 immortals, Dirty D, and 2 liths before my concession was accepted. Easily the biggest whuppin I've taken in 2007.

Good job with a rad list in what sounds like a fun event!
