Are this 62 marines SAFH enough at 1500 points?

The only non explicit shooty unit is the counter-attack captain command squad...

HQ
* Captain (1), pw, combi-melta with Command Squad (6) with pfist sarge, apothecary and 2 melta guns (255 points)

ELITE
* Techmarine (1) (65 points)

TROOPS
* Las-Plas Squad (6) (115 points)
* Las-Plas Squad (6) (115 points)
* Las-Plas Squad (6) (115 points)
* Las-Plas Squad (6) (115 points)
* Las-Plas Squad (6) (115 points)
* Las-Plas Squad (6) (115 points)

HEAVY
* 4 Missile Launchers Devastator Squad (170 points)
* 4 Missile Launchers Devastator Squad (170 points)
* 4 Heavy Bolters Devastator Squad (150 points)

Summary
8 missile launchers
6 lascannons
4 heavy bolters
6 plasma guns
2 melta guns
1 Combi-Melta
1 bolt pistol
34 bolters

Going math-hammer that mean 25,2 MEQ killer per turn, not counting the techmarine ability to join some of the devastators allowing them to repeat misfires,…. ..and there will be no lucky glancing hits forcing me not to shoot next turn… ¿can any marine list (1500 points) up that?

I think some counter-charge ability should be mandatory... for those not agreeing with that you can replace the command squad with a elite veteran squad ... it could be another las-plas squad but with the tank-hunting ability.....

Into the fire of battle we go...

Why don't you use the tank hunter trait for those Devastator squads? I would drop the ML Dev sqauds anyway and add two squads of tank hunting terminators.

And I really don't know what battlefield role will be fullfilled by your command squad. Footslogging meltaguns? (And no, it's very far away from being a good counter assault unit. Take a Rec or Epi with Terminatorsquad for that purpose.)

On the topic 'Wich bases are supplied with my Terminators and how could I abuse it'...after turning into a debate on english language and the meaning of the word 'supply'.

You got great firepower.. but not a lot of (counter)attack and its all very static. with all these heavy weapons you cannot move to claim table quarters or loot counters..etc. a smart enemy will avoid all your shooting power by staying in cover and claim the objective in the last turn.

This kind of list is no fun. once you are deployed there is nothing else to do but roll dice and shoot whatever you can see..

I once played with a list like yours against tyranids.. my enemy used 5 carnifexes as a wall to shield his flying hive tyrant,hormaguants and his genestealers... I shot down 3 carnifexes and when the first close combat unit locked my shooty units it all fell apart..i had nothing to counterattack..

I agree with shogun. The army is way to static and that command squad just can't do what really needs to be done by a counter attack unit. I would drop that squad and 2 las/plas squads to get a Libby with a jump pack with an assualt squad (vet w/ fist) also 2 speeders with assault cannons. I would then get those units of devastators up to 8 man each.

The Terminators are a great alternative to the assault squad, however it will be a little to expensive and no where near mobile enough.

Also get tank hunter on alteast 1 of those ML dev squads.

I second that. To many Las/plas is redundant and skimmers are so valuable for hunting things down you can't target, indirect, hidden assault troops ect, and objective claiming contesting. Psychic hoods are almost at a must have requirement anymore with all the new psychic goodness coming out. A few lash/warptime princes in a assault oriented chaos army and it's all over. Terrain permiting the lash/warptime princes alone may own your army without a psychic hood. They fly (hide behind terrain) lash you 2D6 closer then assault probably no latter than turn 2.

Give the Cmd squad a drop pod, by dropping the Techmarine, and take a Librarian with fury of the ancients; fitts better to a SAFH.
