As requested. This is the anti-nidzilla list. It has 2 Carnifexes for support, I consider this a minimum fire base for Nids.

It uses cheap spinegaunts and large numbers of warrior units to disperse heavily armed anti-infantry squads firepower.

In effect, with 15 units to shoot at it's hard to decide what exactly to shoot.

It has so many warrior units it can close combat skimmers and hope for the best if the Carnifexes can't get the job done.

If you prefer 3+ Carnifexes, or a Tyrant...just drop a Warrior unit and you have points for it.

I designed it about a year ago to be very modular in nature, but went with the Nidzilla list mostly for crazy magnet modeling opportunities.

Oh most units have leaping or flying, the one unit doesn't as it's the bodyguard/synapse for the gunfexes and can effectively hide behind them. As the gunfexes move up, that warrior unit goes with them and any broken gaunt units will pretty much always have someplace in the center of the board to run to. It's still a powerful deterrent to a close combat unit coming in for your gunfexes, and the gunfexes can shoot infantry almost as good as dakkafexes @ 12".

I was planning on putting together a list like this "for the holidays", but decided I would hold off until seeing what was happening with ed5. Rending nerf=bug nerf for my army, so I will wait and see. After all, I've got 5 other armies to play.

I was planning on using large numbers of hgaunts for tie up/initial damage and back up from warriors with rending scytal, with shooty fex love for the skimmers. Gotta show love to the skimmers.

I know, I know. I can hear the cries of "escalation will doom you!", and you are right. However, I'll take my chances with it from time to time. I can only pray it gets the snip in ed5, or maybe re-written to where it's not such a butthole surfer.

Stelek, are you sure that even THAT swarm of warriors can really do all that much agaist skimmers? I was running some numbers on 2 squads of 9 hitting an eldar skimmer, and it wasn't looking pretty, btu I never got a chance to really do it right. I guess since that would be a last-ditch tactic, it gives you the option and makes the skimmers think twice before indescriminantly buzzing your broods.

Well, lots of things will change in a year or two.
