As I'm sure all of you do, I always try to paint up a prototype before I go into Ford mode. Well, here is my first Krieg soldat. I added grass to the base, as he blended too well without a contrast....I like my colors but it seems so drab. I guess it's the range...or should I add something?

With IG? Soldiers.....

Just because anyone agrees with anyone, doesn't mean they are correct. Beware the thin line between what is "Correct" and what is "Popular."

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

those are some nice looking minis. Looks like a first rate paint job.

You could give it a winter/ mountain theme if you want some contrast.

Don't you wish it was only $200.

He looks awesome. But he's so dark most of the detail might not show up on the table. Is he for gaming or display?

Very nice. Well suited to the Death Korps theme. Grim, bland and morbid......

You might try the light blue ("horizon blue") that French polieus (sp?) wore in late WWI. It will not only be more appealing to the eye, it will also make mud effects show up really well.

Even toning it down a bit from this would look good. But with those amazing FW minis, it seems a shame not to make them "pop".

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

I think it looks terrific! I'd say that your basic rank-and-file don't need any other fancy colours, but I would definitely love seeing some brighter reds or other colours on your officers and general.
