So far, this is the hardest thing i have tried to figure out. I cant really think of a model that could suit the tyrant's look very well. The reason i want to is that GW put the bruiser model and the tyrant model at the same size.......doesnt make the lord look very standout-ish. The only model i can think of right now that would work is the old giant. Suggestions are welcome. Please and thank you in advance.

If Rampage Jackson was in warhammer, he would be an ork.

heavily converted to shorten the limbs, the new plastic giant could work - but still wouldn't look like an ogre. That could work fluffwise, if you liked the idea of a 'dwarf giant' who's joined an ogre clan, but some people wouldn't be amused.

I think the simplest option is to 'biggerise' an ogre model, cutting it at waist and anywhere else you can later cover in furs and armour and belts etc, adding a millimetre or so in each place, so that overall he'll look like a big but believable ogre.

I think biggerizing a plastic ogre works for making a bruiser, with the tyrant in metal. Or using a maneater as bruiser, with the tyrant in metal. Or converting a hunter (which I did) for bruiser, with the tyrant in metal.

Basically, if you're running the bruiser & the tyrant in the same army, then I think the bruiser needs to be made from some smaller option, as the metal tyrant makes for a pretty beefy tyrant, IMO. Most 2000+ armies don't actually have both tyrant and bruiser though, unless the bruiser is a BSB in which case converting up a hunter / maneater / plastic bull is still a good option. Generally you see tyrant + 2-3 butchers ftw, so reusing your tyrant as bruiser in 1000 gets you by as far as bruisers are concerned.

I suppose using an Inquisitor scale Ogryn would be a little much eh?
Alternately, if you want the tyrant to stand out a little, you could model him standing on a rock out cropping of some sort. He would be the same size, but having a half inch of stuff between him and the ground would make him stand out (literally). Give him a big banner of some sort, and he will look much larger than average unless one really holds the two next to each other.

Are you sold on just using GW models, or could you import something from another manufacturer?

I saw a thread a while back where a guy was using a Mr. PotatoeHead as the basis of a stompa. How about using a Mr. Potatoe Head as the basis of a Tyrant? But then I guess it is not a GW model and they would not let you into tournaments. Hmmmm, bummer.
