H'OKAY! Welcome to my thread ya'll. I just wanted some advice on how to go about completing my 1850 point list. This is what I KNOW I want so far.

-2 Biker Bosses, Standard Klaw Load-out, 300 points total.
-6 Trukk-Boy Mobs, Sluggas and Choppas, Nob with Klaw, Trukk with Rokkit, Ram and BALLZ (wreckin' balls)
-6 Skorcha Traks

This leaves me with a little bit over 300 points left to spend. Now, I know usually people would fill it out with a nob unit, or with some battle-wagons, but I'm going to think outside the box and instead of using more of what I'm already running (orks packed in vehicles trying to steam-roll the enemy, I have enough of that) I'd like to add a fire-support element to my army. I think this could make quite an interesting/effective KoS army.

I was primarily in-between 3 Big Gun Batteries with kannons, or 2-3 units of lootas. What do you guys think would flow better with my army? The lootas are certainly better against light-vehicles, skimmers, and light infantry, while the kannons have a slight edge against medium-heavy vehicles and MEQs. The lootas also have a better range, and a lower model count which means they can be hidden more easily in cover. I'm not too too concerned with dealing with heavy vehicles, as I already have 6 rokkit launchers, 6 wrecking balls, 6 s9 power claws and 2 s10 boss power claws. As far as MEQ's and necrons go, I'm fairly certain that my power claws will do a good job in combat. I'm split almost right down the middle between the two of these units though, so please give me some advice. Thanks.

Personally I'm a fan of lootas. The potential firepower of a reasonably large unit is a far greater draw than big gunz. They're also more durable, really - greater numbers and leadership, and - of course - they're not grots.

lots of lootas, or less lootas in a cheap battlewagon
