Now that lloks like something that has decayed and been drag out of its grave to serve a dark master! I always liked the part decomposing tendons still visable approach to my zobies.

2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games.

Wow, just...wow. I like a lot of the new VC plastics, but their wolves are heinous. These are seriously creepy, with that "still covered in grave moss" feel. Would make a great sub into a VC force, thanks for sharing the find.

Almost too good. Too realistic to be included in cartoony GW undead armies. It's a good hint of what an undead army should and could be, but GW would never sell such miniatures to children.

My thoughts are similar except I don't see it as the GW undead being too cartoony at all. The current models are far from cartoony.

GW stuff is comic-book fantasy in my opinion.

I love almost all the Gamezone stuff and follow their releases quite closely. I really don't see why you couldn't inlude these models in your undead army aside from the low amount of variety and the relative cost.

And GeeDub's wolves are plastic, which goes a long way for me, unfortunate sculpts not withstanding.

But great models, GZ continues to impress.

I agree with Kotrin, these are almost *too* good. These are excellent, excellent models. Better that the warp hound from Reaper, easily better than the GW stuff, better than anything I've seen in a long time.

Hello new addition to my buy list....

Looking for the Empire spearmen from the Warhammer sixth edition box set (empire vs orcs) Must be unpainted and in good condition. Also looking for MIB Empire State Troops boxes.

Looking for Battle for Macragge and Black Reach Tactical squads, unpainted and unassembled.

It looks just like the zombie wolf I saw last night, too true, too true.

I agree. A game based around pushing 1 inch figures around a styrofoam board and rolling the same dice available in the Candyland box requires only the most cultured and hardened of adults to appreciate the deep well of pathos and the fear of the dead engendered by said 1 inch figures.

Make it so...GAMES Workshop. Or, in this case, GAME Zone.

Yeah, because selling models with exposed mammary glands, night goblins with swords flipping you off are so much worse than a bit of exposed bone. Nope, GW would never sell those.

Sorry, But I really fail to see the logic there. This is an undead army we are talking about afterall. Dark magic, necromancy, death, blood, gore.

I think these models should be the only models Undead players should use for their undead wolves. But as said earlier, they do suffer from a lack of variety and being made in metal (if you view such as a drawback).

You gave examples of outdated models. Made in the dark times, the distant past.

As I recall, I can still buy deamonettes with boobies where ever Games-workshop is sold.

But yes, the night goblin is quite old.

Really? That's amazing. I myself am so busy writing sacrastic posts on the internet that I have never had the opportunity to personally observe a zombie wolf or even the decaying corpse of a dog, and therefore I cannot say for certain that the process of decomposition does not cause the canid head to swell to hilarious proportions and the tongue to loll comically.

Drawback? Never. They should make everything in metal. Blacker than the blackest black times infinity.

Then I recommend a bit of a stroll, accompanied by a dictionary, my sacrastic friend. Zombie wolfs abound, though none so lovely as this one

I can't - I'm afraid of the outside. I don't have a dictionary handy either, but I'm pretty sure the plural of wolf is wolves, at least where I come from. So take that Mr. Pickypants!

Those are sick. I love them. They look so real, like walking roadkill. Definitely a very realistic style.

I understand that their style is significantly different from GW's, but I don't think I would be satisfied using any other zombie wolves, after seeing these.

While I know GW wouldn't release something like this, I'm pretty sure it's more because it doesn't fit their style, than any qualms about selling miniatures like this to kids.

Oh, and that Night Goblin is sweet. Thanks, Hellfury.

I've been fairly consistently impressed with Game Zone's quality. I understand their lineup is designed to be used in FB, and many of their characters, especially, are awesome. Mounted figures have their horses sculpted especially for them, meaning you're able to get a nice variety, including some jaw-droppers like that disturbing equine pulling the corpse wagon.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Not only style is a bit diferent at gamezone, kind of more serious and darkish, but detail wise is packed mostly due to a slight bigger scale of their minis.

If by "bland" you mean "not bland" then I would have to agree with you.

But if by "bland" you mean "bland" I would ask what in Gork's name are you talking about? These are like the most unbland zombie wolves I've ever seen!

Seriously, what do you think is bland about them, and what would make them better?
