I was reading some of the story line about the Black Legion in the first volume of the Realms of Chaos books last night. An interesting thing that was mentioned was that Ultramarines came across a Black Legion helmet during a battle on a nid-ship from Hive Fleet Behemoth. What do you make of that? Has this event, or some connection between the two been mentioned elsewhere? Perhaps nids just can't digest powered armor.

Maybe they ate some Black Legion marines? Maybe it was in the Eye of Chaos? Maybe the Ultramarines planted it there?

I'm sure it was a plant. Just another example of the ongoing character-assassination of Abaddon and his legion of really nice guys.

It does seem incredibly noble of them, then again I keep hearing them with the stereotyped British Accent, so that can't help... And little chaos spawn? is that when a snotling gets unwanted chaos attention? *Laughs*

Maybe the Ultramarines are framing the Black Legion and the Ultras are the bad guys.
