I am planning on starting a Krieg army, but I am concerned at its tactical viability. Ive looked over their rules, and really like the theme of the whole army, but before I spend what like 2000 bucks on it I would like to know I can actually win some games with it. The overall tactic of the army is pretty simple (shell enemy until they die, use your men to gum the wheels), but can be countered pretty easily by and fast flanking armies (elder), or any army that can mass drop in my back lines (marines, daemons). Does anyone play them and have any luck? What are your tactics?
