Xenos Turn 1:

Strategems are deployed by both sides. We used bottle caps to mark the tunnels (usable by both sides, since we both took the tunneler stratgems). Xenos have 2 sitting infront of vulnerable points on the Imperial forces (one infront of the exposed whirlwinds and the other in the middle of the guard firing line). Careful Planning stratagem is played and half of the Xenos reserves come on the board, surfacing through the tunnels. Abaddon appears with his command squad infront of the guardsmen and a terminator squad with psyker appears infront of the whirlwinds. Indiscriminate bombardment is played and the guardsmen loose an entire lascannon team as well as 10 other bodies. Abaddon's special orbital bombardment goes off as well and another bombardment goes off on the guardsmen, killing a few more. Demon shell is played and the psyker shoots it at the whirlwind squad, blowing up 1 whirlwind, blowing up the siegedreadnaught, immobilzing the landraider, and preventing another whirlwind from firing (ouch). Bugs wade across the big mine field in no mans land with the Hierphant moving forward, running d6 and firing his biocannon (8 shots str 10 ap3) at the guardsmen HQ squad, 2 go down.

Great pics. Really like the Ultramarine army. How'd the game go in the end?

I've run one game of Apocolypse and I'm interested to see how others are arranging their games.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Very cool Ultramarines. The highlights on the tanks looks great and love the hazard dozers on the Vindis.

But where's the battle report? Who won?

Have to agree with the above posts.

Very cool looking game/space marines.

But how'd it do?

Sweet glorious Horus are those Black Legion Termies converted from Grey Knight Termies? What an absolutely brilliant idea.

Oh no,There goes my summer savings all over again

By the 37 keys of Tzeentch,We open the way for our brothers,
By the 1000 whispers of Slaanesh we call to them,
By the 12 plagues of Nurgle we fell their enemies,
And by the mighty axe of Khorne we cut open the world for them!

Agreed, really nice models. But two questions:
1: Where is the battle report itself? After turn 1 it all dissapears, can't therefore work out who killed what
2:Whats with the Guardsmen running towards the big Nid monster? Surely that can't be clever?
