Hey all, well I was in my local gaming store and saw a bunch of people playing 40k, I had played fanasty long ago, and just looking at it I was hooked. After checking a lot of tactics on-line I decided to join the Hive (Tyranids). I bought 2 Assualt Broods, 1 Hive Tyrant, Codex and the 5th edition rulebook. I grabbed some paint for my army, tho its probably going to take me a lot to get a good paint job on them. Any tips or hints for a new player?

As far as painting goes (depending on the colour scheme you picked), washes are your friend! If you want to post/PM me with your colour scheme I'll see if I can work out a foolproof way of doing it.

For gaming, use magnets (or even blu-tac) so you can swap out the options on your tyrant until you decide how you want to run him.
