These guys seem to be pretty new and I don't recall them being posted before so thought I would bring them to your attention.

The figures look dynamic and well sculpted. I am not convinced they will mix well with 40K or Infinity due to the scale. Does anyone have any comparison images?

Even though they're nice sulpts, 35mm = too big to use in any of your other games.

Not sure why companies shoot themselves in the foot like that.

Wow!

Shows you how out of whack a lot of companies' stuff really is...

Still, nice miniatures!

Exactly! How bloody big are 28mm figures these days? On the plus side it means the Mercs figs will fit with a lot more stuff than I thought.

Thanks to this other comparison page we can now judge the Merc figures fairly well...

Sadly, the owner of Weetoysoldiers is closing his blog, so those size comparison pics will be lost forever unless someone does a public service by hosting them. Since he is offering them for re-hosting, perhaps they could be put into the Articles section of DakkaDakka.

Its always a bit confusing to know exactly whats the scale we get from other companies... some measure from feet to eyes and others from feet to head... then even on same races in a particular range there are some minis taller than others ( this is particularly obvious on infinity for example). But the thrend seems to be that minis are growing up, true 28mm are getting to 30mmplus.
I have alerted merc minis guys that their publicity of 35mm is probably turning a bunch of people off because they think normal wargames like 40k uses true 28mm( wich we can see its false).

I ordered these minis and once i get them here i will make a little review for you guys... im curious to see how sharp they are.

A shame Weetoysoldiers is closing down its a extremelly usefull resource for people who like to know precisely the scale of minis they are getting into... I would have considered hosting those comparative pics on buglands but they have nothing to do with bugs. Good to know dakka is on to it.

Some 15mm are now more like 18mm, and some 6mm are more like 8mm.

10mm was launched and some of them are now 12mm.

The problem is worse in SF and Fantasy than in historicals.

The figs look great for SM scouts count as even if some members of this forum will foam at the mouth. I might get me the sniper at least I think.

That heavy weapon guy has the coolist looking heavy bolter I have seen yet. This is something to keep an eye on.

I bought one of each.

Total cost to UK was £15.99 including postage of $7.50. (It doesn't help that the £ has tanked against the US$ lately.)

They need to be encouraged so they can make some more.

Indeed, I also got the minis. Companies just starting and with such talented artists and finally such high standart minis need everyones help.
I must say they are really friendly... replied kindly to the mail I have sent them and to the question about, when can we see new releases they replied:"I'm working on
the next figure right now so we can have an October release."

I for one will be following this closely. I'm very impressed.
