Longmeadow MA 25+ Trade Rep

Hey guys! My gaming group is doing a bits swap, auction and Iron Man tournament all in one day! This event is at Off the Wall games in Hadley, MA and is going to be a great time! Read the link here, but I posted the contents below. Remember to show up early to enter items in the Auction, or send me a PM.

Bits Bazaar/Auction/Iron Man Tournament

Alright, we've had a slight revision to the auction's schedule. We will have a two-hour "Bitz Swap" starting at noon. For this, people can sign up ahead of time for some table space to put bitz, kits, assembled and even painted models on display for others to buy or trade. Space will be limited, so we're resticting the signups to twelve at present. If you have a lot of stuff you'd like to sell or trade, definitely sign up ASAP. Also, you can take a look at people's "wish lists" for bitz here http://www.the131.com/forum/index.php?topic=504.0. The swap will last for two hours.

After the swap comes the auction itself. Please try to show up a little before two, so we can get you signed in and give you a bidder number. Each lot will start at an agreed-upon minimum bid, and all sales are final. If you plan on bidding on (and hopefully winning) more than one lot in the auction, we can put your winnings aside so you can pay for them all at once at the end of the auction. If you would like to enter items into the auction, contact me via PM or swing by one of our club meetings. We just recently expanded the scope of what we will accept into the auction to include anything directly related to the gaming genre, not just tabletop miniatures. If you enter an item into the auction and your lot sells, then you receive 110% of the final bidding price in store credit from Off the Wall Games. If you can't be present for the auctual auction, arrangements can be made to make sure you get your credit, and Kevin is very willing to do special orders for items not in stock. The auction will last roughly two hours, so we only have time for about forty lots. Get your items in today!

Following the auction will be a small Ironman tournament. This will follow rules similar to the old Combat Patrols rules, has no painting requirement or entry fee, and is mostly for fun. It will be a 400 point Warhammer 40,000 tournament with no entry fee or painting requirement. First round matchups will be random, and the tournament will be single elimination. It will use the following ammendments to the standard rules:

- Compulsory choices are changed to one Troops choice, and you do not have to take an HQ choice, other Force Organization restrictions remain the same
- No 2+ Saves
- No Ordnance weapons
- No vehicles with a total Armour Value greater than 33 (add the Front, Side and Rear armour values together to get the total value)

To recap:

When - Sunday, September 28th starting at 12:00
Where - Off the Wall Games, Hadley, MA
Schedule - Bitz Swap 12:00 - 2:00
Auction 2:00 - 4:00
"Ironman" Tourney 4:00 - End

For the auction, debit and credit cards will be accepted, so don't worry if you don't have a lot of cash on hand. Also, refreshments are available to purchase on site, so don't worry if you forget your snacks!

"Orkses never lost a battle. If we win we win, if we die we die fighting so it don't count. If we runs for it we don't die neither, cos we can come back for annuver go, see!"

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.
