The fake name I'll be using on here is Humorisk. I've been into miniatures and their games for a long time now. I got started with HeroQuest, if anyone remembers that. Inside the box for that game was this little ad insert for Games Workshop, and for my wallet's sake, it was probably a mistake to read that ad insert.

I lean a bit more toward being a painter than a gamer nowadays (currently working on Tyranids until I change my mind again in five minutes). However, I've played plenty of different games. I am a big Blood Bowl fan, and I wish that game got more attention nowadays. I also enjoy role-playing games, I don't know if anyone talks about those on here or not. Thanks for reading and take it easy.

Thanks guys. HeroQuest was great for what it was.

Speaking of Legos, this might sound dumb but does anyone consider that to be a sort of precursor to miniatures when you're little? I loved them when I was a kid, and played with them a lot up until getting into 2nd edition 40k at around 12 or so. Of course you didn't paint them but a lot of conversion work could be done, heh. Maybe this isn't the right section for that topic but these are the things I think about. I'll shut up now.

Welcome, Humorisk! 40K is expensive, but still glad to have you here. Unlike other games, 40K borders on a Lifestyle Choice rather than a mere hobby! The painting, the modeling, the playing, the list building - all part of it! But more satisfying than all those grab-and-go games for just this same reason.

Welcome!

TYRANID ARMY and more for sale. Many Price Drops. 40K and More.

Solorg, I totally agree, but not on your preference of playing Orks.
