So for $10+ a piece I was looking for a way to grow my Wraithguard force without breaking the bank. I was lucky and looking through my old eldar stuff found quite a few of the old Epic scale Eldar Knights and one Eldar Ghostwarrior from the rouge trader era. The size difference might have caused some concerns by opposing players thinking I was being cheezy with the new 5th ed LOS rules. So I just added stuff to the bases to make the knights taller. Many of the Knights only have one arm, again I was lucky. In my bit box I had some of the old Eldar power gloves that came with the plastic Guardian set oh so many years ago.

Here are the WIP...

and the finished product...

Used these in the 1st round of 'Ard Boyz and got a lot of "that's freakin cool" comments. Too bad I finished 4th, so I couldn't show them off in the next round. LOL.

I have not seen any of these for a while, I used to love the epic knights, its a unique way to incorperate some individual wraithguard in 40k, i think they look good, kind of like the old 40k robots, you should see if you can get hold of some of those to expand the units further

Yeah, I'm always keeping my eyes peeled for them...

But I'm pretty cheap too, so unless they are less than $10 a piece...

Funny, last I checked those epic models sold for more than 10 a pop.

I think he meant the stock wraithguard are very expensive, so he lucked out by digging those epic models out of his old stuff.

Exactly....here is hoping when the Eldar get redone in 4-6 years that a plastic Wratihguard box is part of the plan.

Amen to that, bro! These look great, very unique - great job!

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell
