I am looking at two Eldar lists, the league starts at 1000 pts and goes in 250 increments up to 2000. You can't change the load outs on anything just add to the new round total.

I know of one DW/RW, 2 Eldar, 1 IG and a number of marine and CSM lists as well as one Nurgle/Slaanesh demon army.

I am looking at 2 different Eldar lists and can't decide. Each offers advantages for instance, the 1st list has 3 prisms but if I need to go into HTH, I only have a Farseer + Asurmen + 2nd troop of DAs. (Defend, 5+ invuln with rerolls from Doom and Fortune plus Asurmen, Farseer and Exarch with PW or WitchBlade)

Second list looks better with full Warlock contingent but this one makes for a big disadvantage in the 1st round... I want the warlock and their serpent early so my first round army would be Farseer, plus the first two DA squads. Something like 709 point to face 1000 pt enemy so that I can add the Warlock and their wave serpent at 1250.

I know I would like a Fire Dragon unit but my thought is it is better to have 4 troop choices rather than adding one Fire Dragon unit.

HQ Farseer: RW, RW, SS, Fortune, Doom 155
HQ Asurmen 230
Troop 10 Dire Avengers: Exarch w 2 SC and Bladestorm 152
Wave Serpent: Stone, TL EML 125
Troop 10 Dire Avengers Exarch w PW & Shield, Bladestorm & Defend 177
Wave Serpent: Stone, TL EML 125

Warlocks need to be on bikes.

Fire prisms should be base cost only.

That said, I think you have a better list in the first one.

Asurmen = junk. Drop him.

Your WS should have BL.

I know, I know, but knocking out enemy tanks is the only way to get enemy mech armies to fire at your serpents instead of your prisms.

No supreme vote of confidence for either... So think of this as list 1 revised.
Per suggestion, I lost Asurmen and the upgrades to the Fire Prisms. Since I have nothing to
grant Fortune to, I downgraded to a doom seer and a straight bladestorm DA instead of the close combat version.
Finally put back the TL bright lances on the wave serpents. So bought a Firedragon squad and another wave serpent instead of Asurmen and went for 2 sniper vypers with EML. Adds KP's but hopefully will either pick off a light vehicle from range or pin a squad once or twice. I wanted to keep the fast theme so vypers made more sense than a foot squad of elites or a mini Bright Lance squad that I couldn't trick out. Other option is to take 5 swooping hawks with skyleap and just drop the template every turn.

Better.

Personally at 2000 I'd probably run a 2nd Fire Dragon squad.

Not just for tanks, but for more 'zap' against MC.

The problem, as I stated originally is that I can't change loadouts between rounds.

So the option is I have 252 points left with the last bump up to 2000 points... I am planning on adding the 3rd fire prism and the two vypers for 130.

I could go with 8 Fire Dragons on foot for 128 or 7 of them with an exarch with a firepike. In this case bump out one Dire Avenger and drop in on an objective or hide in cover and the fire dragons hoist their wave serpent.

If I skip the 3rd Fire Prism, I could add another Wave Serpent for 145 and another 6 Fire Dragons for 96.
