Hey all,

After all this buzz for Hell Dorado coming from the latest Dakka Painting Challenge, I, as well as many others, have serious questions about just what kind of scale the models work off of, namely in comparison to 40k.

I've done a few searches here and there to no avail, but I figure someone, especially those of you that actually own Hell Dorado minis, might have some insight, or better yet, photos for scale comparison.

So, Lil Help?

They're 25mm Heroic... roughly the same size as WFB humans, smaller than Warmachine and Confrontation models.

They look much more anatomically correct than the at times LEGO like GW minis. Anychance for a comparison shot??

Dude, they're no more or less anatomically correct than any other line of models (they're fantasy figs after all).

Here's some comparison shots with Aidan St James and Vargas and a variety of other company models (Rackham, Corvus Belli, GW, Privateer)

Great colorscheme choice too, Achilles. They're even more striking standing there next to each other, contrasting.

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

No, as I don't play Demons in the group of guys I play HD with.

I can tell you he's on a large Warmachine base (50mm).

Easy enough to do the math from there. If you want to know roughly how big he is... he's about the same height as a Tyranid warrior... roughly the size of an Ogre Maneater (a bit more slight) or Rackham Wolfen (a bit shorter).

Well, his height from shoulder to toe appears to be only a little more than his base width.

I'd guess he's somewhere around 60-65mm when you add in the base height.

So yes, he's Daemon Prince Sized.

All the best getting him in though, I typically spend over a month just waiting for my order to ship from Fantization because it takes Asmodee so long to fill orders.

wish granted. i found an unpainted ork haha

right, the daemon doesnt have an arm ATM, as its under construction. and its terribly underocoated as i got it second hand

and also maybe i was slightly wrong regarding size, its smaller than the nurgle prince, but its definately a good size for a daemon prince nonetheless.
