Just got back from the Frenzy and had a chat with one of the mini designers, nothing new. His slideshow however did show the upcoming releases for Wave 2:

4 plastic boxed sets: Battle Wagon, Ork Nobs, Storm Boys and Gretchin squad.

3 metal blisters: Badrukk, Snikrot and Zagstruk.

I wasn't allowed to take pictures of the models on display but they are the same as seen on previous GD's. The Nobs sprue contains enough parts for two Cyborks and what I first thought to be a buzzsaw for a Pain Dok is in fact a Cybork arm with integrated weapon. Battle Wagon sprues are a real treat: four of them packed with plenty of bits (no deff roller sadly) and crew options.

I also got a look at the Warboss on warbike and he's a big fether alright, complete with a tiny piece of brass chain for his pet squig. They also had the Flakka Trak on display, a really nice piece of kit, can't wait for it to go on sale.

Sounds good to me. Bring on the WAAAGH!

one of our local redshirts insists he's been told by a GW sales rep that the infamous plastic stompa really is coming too - but there's been a suspicious lack of confirmation from anywhere else...

Strange that they're not doing the other special characters.... To leave us converting fun, they can't be bothered or they're coming later (3rd wave)? Who knows?

There's always a third wave. Remember, they still need to crank out new buggies, trakks and Wazdakka!

I also forgot that there will be a new Orc collectors range diorama out next year titled "Orc Animosity" featuring two Orcs duking it out with one Night Goblin joining in and another being used as an improvised clubbing weapon by one of the orks.

So absolutely no news?
