It depends, i'm experimenting with both versions right now. The one without wings has the mark of slaanesh, breath of chaos, iron hide, and hit n run. The one with wings is just wings, iron hide, and gaze.

Depends on their roll. Wings are pricey. In my nurgle demon list I dont use them. I DS in and hit them with gaze. But with wind or being Khorne I could see the use.

You should be taking Soul Grinders instead.

I run two princes in my current list -- one with wings (Mark of Khorne, Iron Hide; his job is either to hunt vehicles or to lend support on big scrum melees); one without (Mark of Nurgle, Iron Hide, Breath of Chaos; his job is to absorb enemy firepower, often after landing in or near back lines).

Wings do cost a lot of points -- too many to make them an obvious or automatic choice. Still, mobility can be a big issue with demons (after the original drop, that is). Also, I feel I need the anti-tank capability, and without wings, demon princes really aren't equipped to chase vehicles.

I'd take one with wings, often with mok, hunts dreads and tanks - dreads are normally the one thing sg's can't take

I use them one of two ways. Nurlge with iron hide, cloud of flies, Teh 24" AP3 AssualtX power and sometimes noxious touch. This guy is great for my Epidemius list. He wracks up kills quickly as he hits on a 2+, and in hth he wounds on a 2+, and he's faster than the rest of my army so he can play hammer.

I've also run khorne DPs with wings, but blood thirsters and any greater daemon is better for the points.

In most case, I honestly would take a sould grinder. OR 3.
