so what supposedly happened to the man after he was slain? Ive never heard anything after that. Obviously i know Abaddon turns out to be nothing more then a pickpocket but what happens to horus? and do you really think that the chaos gods just let him die off?

abaddon finds his body, takes the claw, they traitor legions then retreat to the eye of terror taking Horus' body with them, that's all we know, i mean they could have harvested his body for geneseed to make new Marines or something like that no-one knows

The Emporer's Children steal his body and try to clone it to get a new warmaster. Abaddon takes exception to this and launches a war against them to get it back. The black legion recovers it and abaddon destroys the body (I think they mentioned it was turned to ash with a emlta) so no one else tries that again going on the philosiphy that Horus had his chance and failed, it is time to move on.

I think that all of Cadia might despise Abaddon a slight bit more than you. With the 13 Black Crusades and all.

aboddon, descoveres him, takes him to were ever he did, in an attempt to clone him, but then the black legion decided they ddint want clones of him so they destroyed him boeyond repare, thats wat ahhpend to him in the simplest form

Yeah the took Horus' body and destroyed it. At least I think that's what it says in the Codex.

Im Horus..... you see what happened was, after I "died" somehow i was blasted back in time, to now. seeing as former warmaster and destroyer of thousands of worlds isnt a strong resume point.... Im currently jobless and sit in the basement at some old ladies house wondering if we space marines really ARE immortal. So if we are, Im totally kicking the emperor in the nuts when next we meet

you see the imperial fists took the body but abbadon fought them and got one talon but he lost hin.later horus was fed to the emporer to keep him alive and now horus waits until the perfect moment to take controll

According to the third Blood Angel book, hos body resided in the BA fortress monastery ... i wont try to recall the details of the exact place, but hes basically somewhere in the basement, held within a sarcophagus filled with a goldenish liquid, which makes him look vivid and beautiful as ever.

I heard that fabius bile tried to clone him, but the black legion came in and destroyed the body, and it fits as they are ashamed of horus cause he lost to the emperor.

Pretty much. He is held in the deepest basement in the BA Monastary. All the doorways to get to him are adorned with Angel Effiges and nobody has been down there since he was sealed up.

Not Sanguinius, and not Horus, I think. Sanguinius's sacrifice was too significant, from a story perspective, to bring him back to life. His whole POINT, as a character, is that he made the Ultimate Sacrifice.

That is true, he sacrificed himself to save the Imperium and for the most part, the Emperor.

But, I would not put it past them to bring him back. He has been down there awhile, we know he was tainted by Chaos because of the Wings. He was the most loved of the Primarchs. (By the other Primarchs and the citizens of the Imperium. Even Horus loved him after he was turned to Chaos.)

Honestly, if the Emperor is brought back, I almost expect him to bring back the Sanguine Angel somehow.....

If I recall correctly, Horus couldn't be brought back even if the gods wanted him back.

The Emperor completely nuked his soul; there's no one left to resurrect, even if his body could be cloned. Completely nuking his soul (to a degree that made the chaos gods scared to be inside him), is what crippled him (along with the various wounds he probably suffered in the battle).

What do you mean nuked his soul?

They should bring him back as a named DP anyway. Wouldn't be as ridiculous as tearing apart some kind of extensional abstraction of existence beyond physical being.

no in all honesty bringing back horus is the DUMBEST ive ever heard. GW will simply say "well you have abaddon" dont get me wrong i love horus too, and hate abaddon with a passion, but the mighty horus wont be showing us his face for ever.

Why would the Emperor, a being of near god-like power himself, become forever crippled by using an immensely powerful attack that only destroyed someone's body, allowing them to be reincarnated at will?

Having your soul able to be destroyed forever makes just as much sense as having souls which can never be destroyed, especially when demigods have to nearly destroy themselves to do it.
