Not without a severe change of concept. You've got about the best anvil unit in the game, the best (Immortal Fury makes him so) hammering Large Target flyer, the nastiest mounted combat characters point-for-point, the hardest-hitting Fast Cav, the nastiest shooting unit, and a smattering of magic/magic defense.

The only downside is that it's an army which is so good that it may impair your ability to learn the more advanced tactics of the game, because you won't need to. The Daemons of Chaos army book makes me sad for Warhammer, which is my favorite game.

I agree with you, I love daemons in 40k and use them as a crutch to play Fantasy. I realized this issue with them, so I decided to challenge myself and go the complete opposites, Empire!

About the list. It is a well rounded army, I wouldn't know what to add to your list.

If you smell bad, take a shower before playing me. I hate when people devote too much time to something that they can't even shower.

Agreed. I also use daemons in 40k. I'm using the models to cross over to fantasy.

This is basically the best army I could come up with with the models I own, but don;t know the game well so was looking for some fine tuning.

I liek playing fantasy, never liked painting the models... So daemons is god send.

It's too good.
As mentioned earlier, you have arguably some of the best units in the game all in one. There won't be any real need to learn advanced tactics beyond how to pilot a list of Daemons.

With this list, you'll win games, but people won't want to play you and you will get low army comp scores.

I recommend the new Warriors of Chaos or Lizardmen, as this list is currently

Horrific Horror

I was looking at your list and I can make some suggestions.

1) The pink horrors only have a level 1 flickering fire. In combat they are not going to do much. Except die off quickly especially if your opponent has ASF.
2) The Blood thirster can go down very quicky to shooting. Especially if there is a war machine or 2.
3) Drangon Prices versus Blood Thirster. Dragon Prices win because Blood Thirster cannot do anything to them (Flaming attacks).
4) I count 5PD and 5DD which versus most armies is not enough.
5) Flesh hounds are good for small units but can get tar pitted quickly versus ranks and a +4CR can cause you to be making more leadership tests then you want.
6) Flamers are good at shooting but close combat will end up in your opponents favour. You still have to roll to hit with however many shoots you get (Average around 21).
7) Khorne Heralds have a 4+Armour save and a 5+Ward save. But provide no benefit to any unit in your army. Rank and file will destroy them and a good charachter will chew them up.

Sorry if I am sounding negative. But this is what I see. I have Deamons as well and have 2500 in Tzeentch and 2500 in Khorne. I am building 2500 in Slaanesh and Nurgle in the future.

Suggestions
A) Pink horrors do better in larger units. 30 is a nice number and allows you to get a magic missile (non flaming) with a strength of 5 to 10 off against units. Lose 5 and you still have gift of Chaos.
B) I would put in a unit of Blood letters to use the Herald of Khorne with. Then dont give him a Jugger and switch his gift to obsidian armour 3+armour save and magic weapons in base contact are now non magical (You can leave him on a Jugger which with Obsidian armour gives him a 0+ armour save).
C) Bloodthirster consider Obsidian Armour and Collar of Khorne. That still allows you either of the Weapon Gifts. Now he has a 3+ armour save and blocks magic weapons and has a Magic resistance of 3 (imagine urnans thunderbolt coming at him now).

Hope that helps.

The Problem for a mixed list such as this is that your opponent can easily out play you. While Mannahnin is correct that your have taken the best from everything you lack one important aspect. That is crowd control. Without crowd control (fliers or Fast Cav) your list will be subject to certain issues and will auto loose against other armies. I can see Anvil Dwarfs being a big issue for you as well as the Stank army.

Assuming this is who I think it is. I know you are a rock solid player and that should help with the short comings of the list. I would see if you could get some Furies in there at the very least and if not them a unit of Seekers of Slaanesh w/ the sirens standard.

Not sure about fire storm blade on a bloodthirster. How prevalent are High Elves? Maybe obsidian armor to negate magical weapons or collar might be better.

I give Firestorm blade to a herald with armor of khorne on a juggernaught usually run him with a group of 5 Flesh hounds.

The nurgle herald just sounds expensive is the Palatine or Level 1 really necessary?

I like to have 2x 5 furies for march blocking, screening and going after seige.

If you run a Herald on a Jugger with the Hounds just remember 2 things.

1) The hounds are now movement 7 instead of 8 and
2) The Heralds special ability of giving hatred only applies to Bloodletters or Blood reapers. So the hounds do not gain anything.

Other then that yes it is a good combination to run.

I love how the hound have 2 wounds, where as in 40k they have 1. That really should be switch, either way I think they are great in Fantasy.

Having played a couple games, I have begun to switch over to something more like this. Similar to the first list, butI've run into some of the issues you guys warned about.

First off I increased the number of flamers. They really help with scirmishers and hordes. I also switched to standard of sundering for a little more magic protection as light magic can really wreck some of my list.

I'm also weighing the idea of a collar of khorne for the bloodthirster. It would just take all the focus of magic away from him. Ultimately I'm really divided on how to run him.

What are your guys thoughts?

Bloodthirster w/ Armor of Khorne, Firestorm Blade, Immortal Fury, Spell Breaker (dispel scroll)
Nurgle BSB w/ Level 1, Standard of Sundering, Noxious Vapors (enemies lose ASF and go last)
Khorne Herald on Juggernaut w/ 0+ save and Firestorm Blade
Khorne Herald on Juggernauts w/ 0+ save and Firestorm Blade

10 Horrors
10 Horrors
14 Plaguebearers w/ Standard Bearer, Champion

5 Flesh Hounds
5 Flesh Hounds

4 Flamers

Its looking better. I does not look like much on paper but I think it will be able to do some serious damage in most games. You have everything but agility. I would still like to see furies or Seekers in there to give you some of that.
