hi guys as you may know in one of the threads i have started it involved a tzeentch Chariot. well i took everyone's advice to account and mainly Ifurita's suggestion of turning the base around.

my army im about to start is mainly a tzeentch khorne army. And my priority in painting were the HQ choices and the "Big Daemons" so here they are. and sorry for the crappy photos hope you can still see the general gist of what i try to go for.

With my DPs i try to go for a meanie LOC for a change. and adding the 2 slates of plastic to satistfy the 2.5 inch heigh of a regular DP.

I like your Daemon Prince. I have no talent for modefying things so far, but I have not really practiced either. I am glad you did something different. Best I did was add a 2nd head on to a standard LOC for Fateweaver.

GK's as heralds? I like the model's look, and they have sweet paintjobs, but I would have gotten rid of the inquisitorial markings on them aswell.

Tell me the Wip Dp will have an axe. That would be sweet. I dont like the white on the Somewhat done Dp, It looks abit streaky. Also the skulls could use a darker base that is highlighted up to white, rather than just being white.

thanks for the reply, i wanted my army to be like a army that came straight from the fantasy plain to the 40k plain, i dunno, it seemed sorta cosmic and other worldly to me.

@Elnicko5 They became heralds since i saw them being lazy on the shelf, so i condemned them heretics and thus, they became heralds. and about the inq markings, i failed to notice after priming the models, and i was like "oh snap" while i was painting. but im gona tweak the markings out.

Thanks. But sadly i already had a plan on the weapons of the WIP DP. on the somewhat done DP, this guy was my first paint job ever and i think it wasnt such a good idea to work with white the first time around. and as for the skulls, noted, il try to add more depth on it.

Nice conversion.

The fig could use some additional contrast in the color scheme to make it more striking in table top. At the moment it is cold blues all the way. Some nice warm yellows would add a lot to the appearance. At the moment there is no focal point in the fig.

If you would repaint the birds head in yellowish bone for example, it would give the fig a natural focal point and viewer eye would be drawn to the head, which would make it look much better IMO.

The conversion as I said is looking fine, now it just lacking the paint job to match it.

hmm after you pointed that out,, it does look rather dull in a sense with all those blues, thanks for the advice, im gona try to throw in some warm colors especially on the beak. will post when my troops are done as well

Update! Got a good bulk of my army arrive throuhg my dad today.

I noticed you had Bloodletters there, you should convert them somewhat. I see that you have the bird theme for Tzeentch as well, what about mixing them up with the plastic Kroot kits?

yeah, the bloodletters seem to be out of place out of the whole army atm. And yeah, i think a mash with the kroot kit would definetly keep up with the "bird" theme.

The dryads-as-horrors look great -- definitely convincing in their new role. And the DP definitely looks intriguing, though it's a little hard to get a clear sense of the shoulder/arm area.

I love the color scheme, btw.

Well progress has been mediocre and here are what i have done, Last herald and the second GD. I feel the GD is a little bit lacking. and advice would be nice. ty in advance. on to the pics!

Wings look great, like corruscating colors for sure. More definition on the face and beak would help, maybe some darker washes to bring out the creases more???

hmm yes, i thought the face was rather lacking. il get right to it when i come back from uni.

well guys, after a long while not updating this blog, as i've been focusing on gaming weekly, i finally made a semi big purchase to add a big bulk to my army, as i want more choices to boggle my mind when making an army list. Here you are! archaon and 10 spawns! gona sell the CSM

I plan to use the spawns for slaanesh fiends, and archaon will act as my count as blood thirsters. (the size fits!)

More updates to come as i assemble them as im out of glue!
