So my package from Neal arrived today--Glee! Box of Wargames Factory Colonial Brits (which are pretty good looking), Koldrun Lord, Cyclops Shaman, skink warchiefs (for VSF) and the ubiquitous bits bag. Someone asked me to post the contents, and I can't remember where, so here it is:
It was a truly random array of stuff, plastic and metal. 3 termie legs and 5 torsos, old CSM hands/bolters (like, 3rd ed. old), metal skaven bits (bodies and weapons, but not going together), undead, half a horse (!), an ion cannon, limbs from various monsters, weapons, shields, etc. Some kind of neat stuff: the 'choke hold' chaos champion hand (with dude), an orc shaman and merc orc with crossbow, a couple of one-piece elves (one 5th ed. WE ranger and a HE white lion) and a 5th ed. marauder (without the flail top) that'll be great D&D fodder, as well as a CSM sprue that I think is at least a full marine, which I'll use somehow (skirmish gaming?), some stuff that was unrecognizable, and a couple of pieces of empty sprue (though my guess is the bit fell off into the bag). I was expecting the randomness, so while there were no figures that made me absolutely freak out ("OMG! It's an entire Beastmen chariot/Mumak/Land Raider!'), nor was I sorely disappointed with a bag full of 4th ed. shields and 20mm square bases either. It's probably a good way to stock up your bits box and good for a lark, but not the sort of thing I will buy annually or in great quantity, I don't think. But it was fun to see what emerged from the bag.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.
I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil |

Torso/legs (left I think? I'll have to look again).
Oh, and when I said 'unrecognizable', I didn't mean they were lumps of plastic or lead, just that I couldn't place the part for the figure (various trophy racks, accessories, or pieces that are clearly for tyranids but I don't know what they do, etc.).

I loved mine. Got most of a Ravenwing sprue (great stuff on that) a mounted and on foot vampire, Mr. Hammertime from Storm of Chaos, nothing really bad.
I enjoy getting it each year.

I got a bunch of totally rad stuff, and thought it was a super idea... I got a bunch of IG tank stuff, including the upper superstructure of a Baneblade, which is perfect for the Baneblade kitbash I'm planning with an old GiJoe tank model kit. I also got a few random parts of a Tau Ion Cannon... a pair of metal Black Orks (I think) some plastic Skelly sprues, some DA icons (not useful to me) and a plastic Terminator legs and front torso... now I need the back half of the termi torso so I can make another Terminator from bits.

It was me who asked, btw. Sounds like some cool stuff. Not convinced to spend $25 on it (my bits box is HUUUUGE) but cool to see what came.
