I was hopping some people could help me decide on my new list. I have been a marine player for about 15 years. its all I've ever done, marines, marines, marines.
Now I am finnaly ready for new horizons. What army should I do, and why? I have been thinking about daemons, tyrnids, dark eldar, or necron, but that doesn't mean i can't be convinced of another race. thanks

What sort of style would you like to play?

Are you more into painting, modeling or playing, or all of them?

Do you want close combat specialist army, or a mix, or long range army?

When you answer these above, we can get a more clear understanding of what sort of army you want.

of the 4 listed... tyranids. I don't care what style you like, you can build it and modify/add as you desire.
Necrons, DE and Daemons all are somewhat mono-armies. They may have an odd unit that is super CC or shootie but they are very specialized. My other suggestion would be to look at Eldar Lots of options there and again it can be morphed as you develope it

Busy somewhere, airin' out the skin jobs.

If you pick anything but models that exite you the most coupled with fluff, then you're going to get bored quickly.

It's always a safe bet if you simply go with the models that you think are the coolest.

I have never failed to seize on 4+ in my life!

ok. first i am not sure exactly what type i want to play. was hoping that you might convince me one way or another. models and fluff that excite me are marines, last 3 army's have been templar, blood angels, and a shooty 4th ed divergent marine chapter. NO MORE MARINES!!! I also have a witch hunter army. I need to broaden my horizens. Lists I am cocidering trying are a 5 monstrous creature deamon list, probably won't be good but might be fun, (not play tested yet). A very shooty daemon list(play tested 5 games mixed results on both fun and performance). for tyrnids I was thinking about genestealer heavy supported by zanthrops ( not play tested).
