assuming you mean they were subject to a sweeping advance, no they would not get a WBB and the remainder of the squad would be removed from the board. the parts of the squad that are dead and waiting the WBB rule stay where they are.

Yes, they are run down and do not get WBB. Including the downed models.................
Run a search, this comes up every couple of weeks.

wait, not to sound like an idiot, but couldn't they still get up if there was a res orb within range (seeing as that allows pretty much any dead necron to get up)??

They still require a similar unit within range to get up, just a Res Orb does not allow WBB.

Without meaning to copy and quote whom ever has said this before buut are downed models in a cc fight removed from the game with the remainder of the unit, if that unit gets run down?

Or do they stay where they are for thier WBB rolls in the next turn (and hope some necrons walk along to get within range.)

Only reason I ask because ive read the FAQ which doesnt clarify and in the codex it mentions the models are completely ignored until the wbb roll time comes. Perosnally, Id like to be able to run em down.

No, the res orb does not protect them from a Sweeping Advance. The unit is removed from the game and no special rule can save them unless it specifically states that it supercedes Sweeping Advance (ie ATSKNF). This was FAQed in 4th and the Sweeping Advance wording was changed in 5th (the no special rule can save them bit) to eliminate any chance of WBB for Necrons that die to a Sweeping Advance.

Downed models are still part of the unit, they are moved with it if it falls back, they can teleport through the Monolith with the unit. So, given that they are still part of the unit, they are removed when the unit is removed. They do not leave the unit until after a successful WBB, and then only if the nearest like model is in a different unit.
