Ive never been happy with how bolters were depicted as 'mini grenade launchers' in things like Firewarrior. I always imagined them having semi-automatic & burst modes, so, even though the bolts acted as small rockets, to use & to see being used, bolters resembled regular machine guns.
man.... that was poorly phrased.

Yeah, but the critters in aliens have no eyes, and they don't come in bright white with red highlights. I'd actually pick that grenade launcher over a heavy bolter every time.

Na that is what a heavy bolter is ... its just that in the 41st cent, only the sternguard get the right ammo

what?!? youd pick that over a heavy bolter?the granade launcher would be like a auto slugger or somthing. id pick a heavy bolter over pretty much anything we have today. and yea that auto shotgun is just awesome. i want one
