One unit of Ironguts may carry a magic standard worth up to 50 points.

They never specify which book you take the banner from, so does that mean when your using them as dogs of war in a skaven army they get a skaven banner? Or do they always carry an Ogre Kingdoms banner?
I think the latter, but i'm not 100%

I'm not positive either but I'm pretty sure you'd have to take it from the Ogre's list.

Any magic items taken by a unit must be chosen from their respective book.

Therefore, if you are taking Ironguts in a non-OK book, the magic banner must still be chosen from the OK book. If you were taking a unit of DoW that were able to take a magic banner, you must choose one available to DoW, not to whatever army hired them (so, in that example, you're stuck with only Common Magic Items).

So, Ironguts in a Skaven army may choose the War Banner or any of the Ogre Kingdoms banners, not a Skaven banner.
