Alright, I'm planning to grab a Tyranid Battleforce in my next budget. I would like advice on how to assemble them. Currently I have:
Tyrant (Bonesword. Am planning to give it something from the carnifex sprues for its second weapon.)
Tyrant 2xScything talons
22 Genestealers (plain)
24 Termagants (plain)
16 H. Gaunts (Toxin Sacks)
1 Ripper Base
2 Gargoyles
1Lictor
1 Warrior (Scything talons and unknown)
1 Carnifex (Talons, Claws)

stick to fleshborer armed gaunts. deathspitter warriors are always a good option. There are many different and effective variants of the nid fex. Here are some examples:

Dakkafex (2x TL devourers)
Strangler fex (barbed strangler, scything talons)
Venom fex (Venom cannon, scything talons)
Sniperfex (Venom cannon, barbed strangler)

For pts purposes only the top 2 will fit into the elites section. I currently have all but the 3rd and I find they all have their uses.

Yeah, I was thinking a Strangler or some sort of Heavy CC Carnifex.
