tau can still beat everyone else yes.... if they are playing a list made by the tau player.

face it. the ONLY scoring units tau have are soft, squishy, and run away if a marine looks at them funny.

now, if or battle suits could score. i think the tau would stand a chance.



honestly, if you think tau are a good army for 5th. i challange you to take them to a big tourny and take best gereral.

on a lighter note, if you know of a half way decent tau army. POST IT as i would love to see it.

i am really wanting to get a few games in with the Imperial armor miner work gangs. 12 strong including a 3 wound ogryn, + 1 melta gun, + 1 demo charge for 107 points (20 less if you take a joe miner insted of ogryn, i added because he adds 3 wounds while only taking up one transport slot himself). mount them in a fishy then zoom and boom with the one shot wounders.

Oh wait, we're not children. And so don't have to jump on the band wagon of "BEST ARMEEE EVAR!"

Gotta agree there Apone, its why i prefer Warhammer with the exception of daemons every army can beat any other army

40k is abit different as for example Lash+Oblits you will have a higher chance of winning most of your games than the next Chaos guy with a balanced army.

However the game is designed so that no army is outright the best they all have power builds so lets leave it at that and start having constructive threads about the hobby

I saw a tau army made up of a unit of fire warriors, 12 kroot and an etheral lose to shrike, 10 TH/SS terminators (who had infiltrated) and 6 drop podding tactical squads and 3 land raiders.

The marines won easily.

OP: this thread is slowed, the armies are roughly equal and your making stupid statements without actually looking into the facts. Even myself with only about 4 months of playing 40k can see that this a pointless discussion.
