Subject: Would something like this work for airbrushing miniatures?
I saw an ad for this on TV and it occurred to me that with some adaptation and a little practice controlling airflow, anybody over grade-school age could use this thing for painting miniatures. With no aerosol cans or compressors it would be cheap and compact enough to fit in a carrying case with your other modeling stuff. Any inventors out there?

Probably not as feasible imo. That's the thing w/ the foot pump right? Consistent airflow is going to be a must for any type of air brush. Not to shoot down your idea, but I don't think you'd be satisfied with the results using something like this.

Yeah, that is the one problem. Perhaps for smaller miniatures it may work, but not for tanks, unless the foot pump was large enough to put out a pretty long stream of air.
