You could drop the venerable status from the dread to save more points for gear.
btw, Wolf Totem counts as a "sacred standard" I think, which no longer exists.
It allowed you to count one more wound than you actually scored in CC within 6" of the banner, and if the bearer is slain in CC, the enemy steals it and that unit gets the benefit until you in turn, kill that unit in CC and get it back. this can happen many times in a game, unless the bearer is killed/removed in any other way.
Confusing, eh?

I'd give the dread some kind of long range weapon, also, the SW venerable dread is a-freakin-mazing so, I wouldn't drop that if I were you, as dreads tend to be really good in these small battles.

If you strip down your dread, then I'd take 2 powerfists, and 1 power sword. Put one powerfist in the squad with a power sword and the other power weapons with the grey hunter squad that only has a flamer.

All you need is a bit that looks like a shield. You could even use a door from a landspeeder. Also I would take a Wolf Lord over the WGBL and kit him with a frost blade and wolftooth necklace... He will always hit on 3+ in close combat. The +1 for Ld and extra wound are really worth it.

Yes, I agree with GBF. Go for the LDR 10 3 Wound Wolf Lord and definitely kit him with the Frost Blade and SS.
I would also exchange one squad of Grey Hunters (the one with the Flamer) with BC instead. It looks like you are not giving the grey hunters bolters so you really have 2 pure CC squads. Blood claws are 3 points cheaper and you get +2 on the charge/counter charge (in most cases, you would be hitting on 4s with either GH or BC) so valuewise BC are the better CC choice. With the saved points you can give the other GH squad bolters to give you a little more firepower. Give the BC the 2 power fists (as each BC will be getting 3 PF attacks on the charge...If I am not mistaken, BC PF are cheaper to boot) and keep the flamer (flamers are great for BS 3 BC since you don't have to roll to hit) . It might also be a good idea to run the WL with the BC so that they can benefit from his leadership 10 when testing for counter charging.
For the SS you just need a shield. You can usually find excellent bits (like a warhammer shield) on ebay for little money. You can also checkout www.thewarstore.com as they also sell bits.

The Wolf Lord should definitely have a storm shield for the 3+ invulnerable save... you can drop the bolt pistol. I would downgrade the dreadnaught, it will save you a lot of points. I would also switch out the power swords and power fists so that the WGLs have power fists and the agrey Hunters have power swords. You'll get a lot more attacks with the power fists if you put them on the WGLs. You can add wolf tooth necklaces for the WGLs when you expand the list so that they will hit on 3+ with the power fists.
