Very nice Cent, very nice!
I gotta say, the different colored gems work better on the wraithlords than on the guard. On the guard it looked kinda off and somewhat disturbing. But it looks great on these guys.
Only weird thing must be the different thickness of the freehand-rune but thats not an issue. I couldnt even get one right lol
Impressive work, crisp and clean

Thanks to all for the compliments.

Actually...not without difficulty. I don't have a macro function or manual focus on my camera, so anything really small gets blurry.
I will be honest and say they're "tabletop" gems as opposed to "close examination" gems. Up close, I'd need to do a lot more blending with them.

I used pretty much the same palatte as with the wraithguard, but I changed the coverage significantly, to make the gems redder. Worked out nicely, so much that I'll probably go back and redo the wraithguard to match.
Yeah, the freehand runes on the head ended up as different sizes. Still not completely happy with either, but painting white is such a ^#$%^#$ that I can't make myself paint over both and do them again. One's a bit too large for my taste, and one's a bit too small.

I think its fine actually.
The runes on the tabards look ace by the way. Oh, and the white is awesome. Very clean and well done for such a hard color.

It's a dead Eldar hero, so he was probably alive when Guitar Hero was popular.

Tricky to do, but not really time-consuming. There is some shading that gets washed out in the digital pics (and the background...my photo-box needs some gradients in the bg). I started with a sky blue covering 100%, then blended up through kommando khakki, bleached bone, and finally skull white. In the end, the white covers nearly everything except for some spots here and there along the sides of the narrow parts.
