For anyone within driving distance of Ashland, VA, Rob of Waterloo Minis ("Wargmer" on Bartertown) is running an in-store flea market this Sunday from 1-6 PM:

On Sunday 2/8 we will hold our first In-store Flea Market. Notice this is a Sunday: the store will be open for the flea market only, and will not be open for gaming. We will open at 1pm; you can set up immediately, or when you get there, but everyone must be cleared out by 6pm.

Here's how it works: individuals can bring in their used/new/surplus-to-the-gaming-needs gaming stuff (minis, board games, rules, etc) to sell; buyers don't have to bring anything but money! We will have table space for you to use in the shop. If you see something you like, reach a price with the seller and then pay the purchase price to the shop. In exchange, the buyer gets the goods and the seller gets a gift certificate for that amount good in the shop. Cash, check and credit cards all can be accepted. Sales are permitted inside the store only, and must be made through the shop. The store will be open for regular sales as well, but the aim is to let individuals get rid of stuff they aren't using and get some store credit for it, while the buyer gets a deal on stuff they might not be able to find elsewhere.

Sellers: please let me know that you want space. How much space you get depends on how many sellers we have!

Rain or inclement weather date will be 2/15.
