I think that these would be great functions to add to the current PM functionality. The where and the why are pretty self-evident. However, in addition to the obvious, I think that it would encourage more of a "group-meeting" mentatlity in the average Dakka users concept of the site. This would pull in more traffic as people could just come to dakka to plan things instead of going to other sites or software.
