i wanted to get a whole nurgle themed army together, but it not only lacks shooting, but also lacks hitting power, so just a few random ideas, ill number them, and see what everyone thinks.


1: Horrors - basic horror models, but painted in a nurgle colour (nothing special)
2: screamers - plague bearers riding "pus discs" (tzeentch disc with nurgle mark, flames converted + painted to look like slime)
3: beasts of nurgle - plastic chaos spawn model (unsure of base size, but will be put on a large monster base if they are on the 40mm ones)
4: bloodcrushers - plague bearers riding chaos spawn (plastic) with added armour on them and larger swords.
5: Ku'gath - rather than being carried by a swarm of nurglings he will be carried by a large beast (on large monster base, same as normal GUO's) possibly a converted "plague steggadon"
6: flamers - basic flamer model with a few added tenticles and painted in nurgle colours.


so thats all the ideas for now, just wanted peoples thoughts and oppinions on the models, if you have any idea how to add more units and keep a nurgle theme then im open to ideas.

Sounds pretty nice actually.

all in all i wanted a full nurgle theme with some actual strength to it.
most pure nurgle armies refuse to die, but they cant kill much, so figured thats not much use.

so this is my attempt to keep a theme yet build a strong army.

any other thoughts?

screamers- you can use the Battle for skull pass spiders and add wings to them, sort of like "nurgle flies" or something.

Spawn are excellent models. I would proffer one or the other though. a plague rider on a spawn is very similar to just a spawn. This is only if you intend to use both at the same time of course. I would just use spawn without ridfers-it could look dorky with a rider on it. Take the spawn model and nurlge it up a bit with greenstuff if desired. Other than that I am thoroughly ok with the concept.
