beware lots of pics

I was moved the first time I saw this model,Werner Klocke
is surely one of the best sculptors today. When the
concept began,I decided to try some extreme color
contrast and also get this girl as sexy as possible,
the color combinations all fell in place after I catched
this pic from Ghost in the shell 2.

all the colors I need is in this pic, including the
big contrasts with green&red and yellow&purple.

then I started to make these color settings logic on
the model.the basic idea here is a warm&cold light
set up.

this is hard to be done than talking, everystep
required advance thinking because it's not a traditional
top light setting and in order to get the effect that
I want, some times I had to sarcrifice a little physics
reality.

to show the idea better I used PainterX to draw
a back ground for her.

First cut out the image from photo with PS,
set the paper ready and then open it with Painter.

Build up basic color with airbrush and oilbrush.

Adding details in the back ground, here I used a
little different paper setting to get the rough
effect of the wave and F-X glow brush for the sun
light and some water reflection.

Using low opacity eraser carefully remove the white
contour.

Adding a new layer with multiply setting ,then shading
the dark area of the base to let the image be more
fit in the back ground.

Variable splatter Airbrushes to simulate spray.

Breathtaking. Seriously. I don't know what else to say.

You should REALLY do a tutorial on your NMM technique. I struggle with doing it convincingly so I would REALLY (reallyreallyreally) love to see how you do it. I have some way of knowing that a few others around here woould like to see a step-by step tutorial, too.

amazing work - I thought the first picture was a CG or concept art piece that would transition into the model. I'd never believe that was the actual model!
