Just wondering what the communities thoughts were on a Lost and the Damned army for 40K.

The list is from the old Eye of Terror Codex and I always thought it would be cool to try it out. Basically comprising of Traitors, mutants and a few Chaos Marines, it could play really effectively!
And look great too!

I thought I could maybe use these models from Pig Iron to represent traitor Guard.

Please let me know what you think!

P.S. I need sprues for the mutants!! Please visit the thread to help me out! http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/233048.page

Well, you can play it with your friends, but Lost and the Damned are no longer a legal list to play. That's why you don't see much talk about it (well, except for people being upset about the fact that it is no longer a legal list).

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

True, but I have a Tau force as my legal campaign force, I thought it would be an interesting project to do.

Thanks!
I probably won't get going for a couple of weeks yet (wait for the cashflow to start up again)

But hopefully, I can start knocking out some models soon!

They really need to make a new LatD list or make the old one legal again. It was an awesome army, and had huge modeling potential. I would collect one myself if I could play it in a tourney. So sad.

I agree, but I think that GW hasn't fully grasped it yet.

I found the army list still up for download on the aussie website, which was a little confusing.

It was pretty cool back in 3rd and early 4th ed when latd, kroot mercs, and harlequins (pure harley, not the new version where they are an eldar elite choice) were all tourney legal.

Ahh ... them were the days.... I just wish I had done more tournaments around that time
