Subject: Magic / aggro army ---DE or DoC

I would like DE or DoC. I prefer to make an uber magic phase and then have a good offense. Why? Well I dont want to be one of those boring armies that sit and make arrows fly in the air, I want to be pounding my opponent with magic and then attack with creatures . Could you send links about each army and why you think its good or not.
What are the learning curves for each army?

Both armies can have excellent magic phase and hard hitting melee units & monsters. Pick one depending which models you like the best. It has to be said the regarding the pure power level of the army, the DE win by having few _really_ underpriced magic items, solid special rules and enabling good use of combined arms list.
edit: for some reason, I read DoC as WoC... Nevertheless, the point stands that both are good armies, and DE have a bit of an advantage regarding the playstyle fun as you can have good combined arms force with those guys.

Just to point something out, the heavy magic armies play in much the same way as the heavy shooting armies. If you find one boring you will find the other boring.
As for which is better? I think chaos has a more powerful magic phase (probably caused by the list having virtually no shooting).

As for choosing between those two armies, go for you're prefered fluff or taste of models.
