Right, so I've been in this hobby for a hot minute, but I still have not figured out what Etched brass is for could someone please enlighten me?

The pen is mightier then the sword, but you must keep a sword handy for when the pen runs out of ink.

Somewhere in south-central England.

Etched brass is used in detailing kits. It is used for fine detail like engine hatch grills, the sails and ratlines on 1:200 scale ships and other items which are too thin (in scale) to be reproduced in plastic or white metal.

Adding that little bit more detail to a small space without much effort. You can bend it to get it in the correct shape and lots of other things, but basicly just to make your minis look that bit nicer.
