Hey guys,

Where can I find the Combat Patrol rules? I have the AoBR rulebook and its not in there. Is it in an older rulebook or the full edition rulebook?

Thanks!

They're not in the current rulebook.

You would have to look in the 4th edition rulebook (full sized one, they weren't in the Battle for Macragge version) or whichever WD the '40K in 40minutes' article was in.

I think they may have been on the GW website at one point as well, but I have no idea if they're still there as GW's hyper-techanogical, expensive new website doesn't work in my browser.

If anyone reads this, does combat patrol use the force organisation chart and can you use models from forgeworld?

It doesn't use the FOC AS SUCH, apart from a maximum of 1 HQ (limits on # of wounds and save apply here as well) and at least 1 troops choice being taken, no 2+ saves (and no vehicles with a combined armour of >33 (F/S/R counting side armour ONCE) so no dreads (kans/some sentinels and rhinos are fine) or heavy armour.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

So as long as you have compulsary options you could have, for example, 4 fast attack?

It's a standard FOC, so max 3 fast attack. The only difference is that the mandatory HQ is now optional, and the mandatory two troops choices is just one.
